paprikasoep

tijm
kruidenbouillonblok
water
laten pruttelen
pureren

{Texture Tuesday} The Movie Lovin' eDition

I'm not much of a moviegoer, I like the occasional romantic and adventure film but most often forget who played in it. Going to the movies is limited to once a year or so, we always promise ourselves to go more often because we really enjoy the evenings out...
One of the movies that had a huge impact on me was 'Himalaya'. A tale about leadership on a hard journey. Ever since I visited Ladakh in 1998 I have a soft spot for the region and the people living there.

My Texture Tuesday photo is not taken in the Himalaya (no digital photo cameras in 1998 owned by us), however it has the same remote feel over it and Kim Klassen's 'touch of whimsey' brushes go perfect with the theme of the movie.

{texture tuesday} It's The Little Things eDition

This week at KimKlassen's Texture Tuesday it's all about the little things. Strolling around while visiting a city is one of the small things I love to do. Not much of a plan, just walk, have coffee in a cafe and soak myself in the beauty of the alleys.

Verdun (FR.) June 2011

All processing done in Gimp. I've added Kim's waterstained frame twice (multiply and overlay), placed a border around the photo and added a striped background  (Paperbag Studios). As a finishing touch there is one of KimKlassens's affirmation brushes.

{Texture Tuesday} The Anything Goes eDition

There was no {Texture Tuesday} scheduled this week here, but alas... the fab new magic textures had to be tested, not? (insert big grin here)

All processing done in Gimp. Polaroid photo frame mask made by me, textures by Kim Klassen: the brand new 'scratched magic july', 'mayzee', 'warm sun' and 'trust'.
To be honest, I lost track what I did to this lovely horse.  Hope you like it :)

Thanks for stopping by,
Dymphie

p.s. below is a png of the polaroid mask/overlay (it's there trust me :)) free to use in your personal work

p.s. I've posted a double polaroid frame (like on the horse one above) in this post: click
